I don't know about reusing a hostname, but you can do the following;

1. Define the domain and its virtual network as usual: ldm add-vnet 
vnet1 primary-vsw0 myldom1
2. Look up the MAC address assigned for it: ldm list --long myldom1   
--and look for the assigned MAC address
3. Use that in the add_install_client as in this example (here, I supply 
the IP address and use the MAC address that LDoms displayed):
./add_install_client -s erp.central:/tank/OSimages/jumpstart/s10u4-ga -i 
129.152.2.82 -e 00:14:4f:f8:b0:66 -n none myldom1 sun4v
4. ldm start the domain, and boot off the network device
