I checked the relevant section of the lrcfg.back.script in both and don't 
see a difference neither.
But I did increase my initrd size both in the initrd.lrp & created a larger 
file according to your procedure.
My backup problem just went away the minute I made the modification in 
lrcfg.back.script that Eric suggested.
(See previous mail). So this still leads me to believe that filename does 
matter one way or another.

On the other hand if your package can still be backed up using leaf after 
you make some changes like adding modules
there is probably no reason to change the docs. It is probably even better 
like this since using initrd.lrp as a filename might
make it more confusing.
