The whole rationale behind this is, that cups is a big heap of programs which may not all fit nicely in the restricted memory of a WRAP board. Most of these programs are used rarely at best, but nevertheless must/should be there. Now I can add a mount point and the associated device to fstab, but it will be difficult to have the programs installed there, as apkg -i for the package is used _before_ mount will make the filesystem available for writing. I could of course make those parts static, but this defeats the purpose and usefulness of a package. Basically what is needed is a pre_install functionality which asserts the mount of a filesystem for this purpose, but this is OT for this thread.
