Well, this is one of the side effects I tried to point out when I said
it was important to synchronize (also organisationally) the web
development with the evolution of the product. It was not clear, at
least to me, that the syslog interface had changed. Only the person
which actually did the job knew for sure.

No, thats OK, I will base whatever I do on the current tree. I would
suggest though to add it to webconf.lrp as it is part of the main trunk.
If it is in webconf.lrp then it might be wise to roll that one out as
you did with the lwp package. If there is a chance to keep the structure
of the tarball, I would prefer it, if not, well be it that way.

I never used that part of webconf (I am pretty good at an editor), so I
will have to look at it first hand myself. The current file set does not
make it that easy to set up my test system (a WRAP), but eventually I
will find time to go for it tomorrow.
