Runnig out probably not, I have 48 mb ram and still these problems...

I removed some, still having 16 mb over, still same problems

I used this program with 2x8mb installed, these 16 mb are correct.

Then I found out my processor-fan wasn't running, I fixed that, but still
problems.

A thing that I find quit weird: every time when I make a fresh disk-image
with the self-extracting windoze program

the disk completely boots op normal, no problems.

But when I make changes to modules&dhclient and back them up, these problems
I have start to happen....

This makes me think it has something to do with my floppydisk, but this is
almost impossible because I bought a fresh new
one.

I even changed my floppy data-cable, but this doesn't make a difference...

Any other suggestions?

PS at the moment I have Dachstein running, because I got lucky: only the
weblet module crashed during loading, so i can still make use of the
firewall.

For the time being I don't touch it anymore, but this situation isn't ideal.
(I really hope the power in house doesn't shut down :) )

Gr Joris
