Your question is rather open-ended.  What do you hope to obtain from
nslookup?

The timeout message suggests to me that the dns server you are talking to
couldn't make contact with an authoritative server for www.yahoo.com.

This could be due to transient issues in the network between your
nameserver and yahoo.com's authoritative server, or could be due to
improper firewall configuration.
