pppoe *client* support is there.

WISP-Dist is quite different in design than other members of LEAF.

Again, what is exactly the problem? E.g., what kind of card you use, what kind 
of PCMCIA bridge etc etc. I personally run it with a lot of Cisco Aironet LMC352.
