Dear Eric:
I started with Linux and went on to webmin. It is certainly a great package
for a sysadmin. I run a web farm and am able to create custom panels for
different clients sharing the machine.

I think the web interface will be a good add-on - if not for configuration,
atleast for reporting. For configuration, I feel we need a more cogent CLI
tool. E.g. Why should a user give interface definitions and hostnames from
two different locations in the current lrcfg? Why should he take care that
hostname in dnscache and network match so that syslog does not take time
etc? Some discovery and validation options at the time of entry will help a
great deal. This is where a web based tool would score. E.g rules file will
show only zones that are declared in zones or hosts file in shorewall.

I'm not a programmer but think I'm a decent admin and an integrator. I'd
like to contribute atleast in terms of ideas and documentation. Let me know
how please?

Mohan
