I have had the same problem. The way I increased the RAM size follows. I'm new and don't know if it is the right, but it works for me. Edit the /linuxrc file, change SYSTSIZE=6M to SYSTSIZE=10M or the value you need, save it. Then with LRCFG backup INITRD.LRP module. If you have two diskettes, backup it on the first of them (boot diskette).
