Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm talking about the ones for the Broadcom chips (Homepna 2.0?).
Hi!
A quick google would have led you to
http://www.homepna.org/support/faqs.asp#FAQ6, which provides directions
for compiling the il.o modules used by the Broadcom chip.
That's the first thing I did... (-;
I haven't tried it myself, but according to a discussion on debian planet (http://debianplanet.org/node.php?id=704) the file on the linksys site (ftp://ftp.linksys.com/beta/linux_hpna2_0_v2_34_0_2.exe) provides precompiled object files rather than complete sources. I suspect it
I believe they don't want to provide the source as I believe I had read that they had mentionned that it contained "trade secrets" or something like that...
won't work with a current Bering kernel.
The drivers Mr Nilo compied didn't work here but the problem might be elsewhere...
If you pursue this, please report your results to the list.
BTW, I don't currently have a pc on which I can compile for Bering so that why I was/am dependent on having them compiled by somebody else...
Thanks!
Nick
