a got a problem with accounting in shorewall 1.4.
The counters _remain_ at zero after surfing some
sites.

"shorewall show web":

Currently I am using shorewall 1.3. So I grabbed the CVS-code
and modified/updated some files from the 1.4-CVS-tree:

accounting
shorewall
shorewall.conf
firewall
functions

All other files are retained from Version 1.3.
I pasted a example from www.shorewall.net/accounting.html
into /etc/shorewall/accounting.
So the rule seems to be OK.

At first I simply tried ./install.sh from CVS. But that script
is missing a "install":

Installing Shorewall Version 1.4.8
install: not found
ERROR: Failed to install -o root -g root -m 0544 shorewall /sbin/shorewall

Why a want accounting ? I would like to know which IP-Adress in my
homebrewed net does generate how much internet-traffic.
This can be done by specifying its IP Address instead of eth0 or
eth1, I think.
Actually I use simply eth[01] until I get it counting at least ;-).
