Yes, I know, ignore the fact that the 2nd partition sets are on the same

When I do my mkraid command, I get the following:

# mkraid /dev/md0
cannot determine md version: No such file or directory

(Long time lurker, first time replier)

Does 'cat /proc/mdstat' return anything? And does lsmod show md loaded? I seem to remember getting similar errors on gentoo when setting up raid without following the instructions closely enough.

Just checking the simple stuff, I'm out of my league after that.
