THE REAL IP ADDRESSES ARE ALL THAT IS RELEVANT WHEN PACKET'S ARE REJECTED BY 'norfc1918'!!!!! > I may be a little paranoid but I want to avoid the link of names with > IP-adresses. > 3. Is that YOUR IP address or the OTHER IP address. The OTHER IP address is most likely the problem. > 5. I don't understand what you mean with "To correct this problem". Since you decided to disguise the problem, I felt that it was alright for me to disguise the solution!! Actually, the solution to your problem was in my post if you looked carefully... Since you aren't going to tell us what the IP addresses on each end are, we don't know how to help you for sure. Download and install the latest rfc1918 file from http://shorewall.net/errata.htm and restart Shorewall. If that doesn't fix your problem, I can't help you further until you upgrade to a support version of Shorewall. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
