No, you don't need to load more modules.

To understands it better, try to get out the data från your leaf-box and graph 
it. I don't know if there is some good modules(easy to setup and use) for what.
I have just used and old version of bering-ulibc. Works for me...and i had so 
much trouble then i tried to upgrade the kernel so i gave up.
But stats.lrp and iptrap.lrp had been enough for me to understand what's 
happening.

And you could maybe request modules for l7filter or any other p2p filter. It 
offers a much more sofisticated way to do QOS and are more easy to understand.
