No, nothing changed in that area. The only difference with this kernel
in comparison with the previous beta is a patch that makes booting
without a keyboard controler possible (for PC-engines hardware). But
nothing VGA related. Can you try to change the kernel ('linux') with
the one from the latest beta?
I'm try new 2.3-rc1 package with old kernel of 2.2.3 package. Also in
new initrd was changed corresponding modules for booting from ide. Same,
with vga card ok and no boot wthout it. Some day soon I'm try connect
bering box to my computer using rs232 cable and look what happens. Perhaps
it resolve faster . Apologise for my English.
With which version was booting without VGA card working? From your initial
mail I got the impression that it did work before.
Booting with a rs232 connection will hopefully give some extra info.
I'm not a natively English speaker also and I have no problem
understanding what you are writing, so no need to apologise.
