Would it be possible to get dnsmasq repackaged with a recent version that addresses the recently-publicised cache poisoning vulnerabilities?
The vulnerabilities have been discussed in many places, such as here: http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/800113 It looks like this was addressed in dnsmasq in version 2.43: http://lists.thekelleys.org.uk/pipermail/dnsmasq-discuss/2008q3/002183.html Thanks.
