Bridge the new wired NIC to your 'internal' NIC, connect the new NIC to a LAN (not WAN) port on the wireless AP, and you should be good to go. I've run this way at a few sites and it's worked well for me. If you disable DHCP on the AP you can handle all the DHCP stuff on your LEAF box.
