Ciao KP and Eric

today I have done some new tests on my boot problem: here results.

test 1: version 5.2.5 Geode with VERBOSE variable resetted in leaf.cfg
file (VERBOSE=1 commented out)
Here the output from the serial console:

SYSLINUX 6.03 EDD 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al

SYSLINUX 6.03 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al
okading /syslinux/linux...
okading /initrd.lrp...
okading /initmod.lrp...

No other messages....
The boot problem is still present

test 2: version 5.2.6-rc1 Geode syslinux serial: I have installed it
from scratch (I have formatted my CF and made it bootable using syslinux)
Same result: the system does not boot; see the output from the serial
console:

SYSLINUX 6.03 EDD 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al

No other messages.....

test 3: version 5.2.6-rc i486 syslinux serial: I have installed it from
scratch (I have formatted my CF and made it bootable using syslinux)
the system boots successfully: see the output from the seriale console:

SYSLINUX 6.03 EDD 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al

SYSLINUX 6.03 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al

I think that the problem is related to some changes in the GEODE CPU
kernel configs.
Can you make some checks? I have not a development station.

Thanks very much in advance
