My worry is the overall message that has been received and is now seemingly 'an accepted'. Leeds are a team that you say no to. Too many people have said No. So that makes it trendy. We are no longer famous or even desirable. We are at the stage where there is a 'something is wrong factor'. I wonder just how much damage we did in the footballers community by selling Scmeichel as we did. It was a big plus bringing him. A sign of intent and status. I fear that the opposite is working especially when we are making a real sow's ear out of replacing him. The whole episode has been bungled in a way reminiscent of Professor Plum's eon. The only difference was the pocket where the money ended because of the act. Sinking into a state of worry. As things are we are more likely to be fighting relegation than promotion. God help us if the Malignant Stoat drags into another off field crisis, which is not beyond the realms of probability. The bastard Bates has run his course.
