Debate 'hygiene' ? Give over, all debates are based upon assumptions. You are assuming that your point is most valid when you make it. You assume that everyone will see it from your perspective, etc. Well defined assumptions form the basis of everything. It is only when you assume based on poor grasp of facts that they make an 'ASS' out of 'U' and 'ME' In this case the stories about Grayson and the impact on the team appear to be light on fact and very heavy on rumour / conjecture. The only way we will ever find out would be if 'Player X' publicly states 'Grayson knobbing Doris from Accounts has knocked team morale for six', we all know that is unlikely to happen (unless the player had already left the club upon revelation) as it would cause further rift, etc. Perhaps it might be better to discuss whether fans speculation of events and the printing of speculation in newspapers, internet forums, etc, has an impact on morale (be it negative or positive).
