Is there anyone else out there as bewildered as me in regard to the above cases ? Why are the police / CPS charging Terry for one instance of alleged abuse but not Suarez when he was supposed to have done it 15 times ?Why is Terry saying something racist on a pitch deemed worthy of prosecution but any bad tackle or even punch up on the pitch is deemed only to be a football matter ?Why does the FA appear to say it is OK for a player to call another player a c*nt - one of the worst insults in this country but then becomes a huge police matter if that is preceded by the word 'black' - a word which in other situations is now the accepted term for one section of society ?(albeit meant as an insult in the FA view of this case)Why has Suarez got an 8 match ban for calling someone a bad name but players only get 3 matches for punching or kicking another player - sticks and stones and all that? Why are Liverpool moaning that Suarez has been convicted on the word of Evra alone - someone who in the past , as they say, the FA have found to have lied and exaggerated a similar instance of racial abuse, when Suarez himself ADMITS saying the words, albeit claiming that he did not know /intend them to be derogartory Why is Terry allowed to play for England -presumed innocent until proven guilty - for an offence committed on the pitch and against all the various campaigns backed by the FA but Bowyer and Woodgate were not allowed to play after an alleged incident that in no way related to footballFinally why is a fan who is dealt with for racist abuse inside the ground banned from all grounds for 3 years - that seems to be the general punishment - but a player who does the same only get an 8 match ban for playing for his club but is , I assume free to enter any ground he may wish during this ban Talk about a can of worms !!
