Thanks John I lost my Mother this year. Now we are doing the stone setting, finally selling her house and the probate process is at a virtual end. But I still have this nagging empty feeling that something irreplaceable has gone. Having Mum around for so long has made her an immutable feature. No matter how far we got in all senses of the word we got we were still her boys. Not getting her card with the five pound cheque just took the color out of it all. Yesterday evening I told you we set up the joint Muslim- Jew girls football team. What I didn't say is that its in the name of my Mother. My Mum's Hebrew name was Zippora. The wife of Moses. Zippora's father was Jethro, Moses's Councillor in his darkest hours [ running a bunch of raving lunatics that make up the Jewish people he had quite a few]. The portion of the Bible relating to us getting the ten commandments is in Jethro's name. Jethro & Zippora were Middanites -- not Jews at all. So that made it very auspicious -- hopefully.
