Apparently Boro were ready to swoop with a £1.5m offer last season or so my Boro mate tells me. They bought some guy who I am not going to attempt to spell the name of instead If you remember there was also talk of a move to Celtic. May or may not be fact but they were reported in the press just like Snodgrass, Howson Johnson etc....
