I thought to myself is there some strange underground Watford supporters club movement in the Midwest of the USA?! Quickly found out that Watford's starting CB Jay Demerit was from Green Bay, Wisconsin and the pub I'm at is the closest for his friends and family and we're 120 miles away. Que the bedlam when Mr. Demerit scores and then is a part of the Watford team that thrashed us to go up. Of all the places in the world to be that day....about the only worse place was Wembley.
