I said pre game that a narrow defeat where we acquit ourselves well was the ideal scenario for us . I did want us to score a goal for the travelling fans so almost got what I wantedFirst half we were magnificent but our old issue of turning control and chances into goals reared its head.Any championship teams watching that half will be worried about facing us.I thought Meslier looked excellent especially his passing - a very odd thing to say about a keeper - Gotts did fine and showed he has plenty to offer and Stevens got more game time and could well be the replacement for Clarke Somehow we need to get a decent back up striker for Bamford to ensure we do not blow up this season, sort that and things will be fine. Dont forget we did that last night with no cooper or Pablo our first names on the teamsheet, and no Forshaw or Robert's or shackleton as back up. Personally I would have given Edmondson a try out ( he got 2 more goals on Saturday) butfor some reason Bielsa does not rate him.
