This was also my first experience of LUTV too. Generally it was ok, although I wasn’t sure about the resolution of the feed. I was very annoyed by the slow replays over live action. As for the girl ‘presenting’, all I could think of was Mel Brooks’ ‘tits and teeth girls, tits and teeth’ adage!
As a game, we should have won (again), we over-complicated our passing in the opposition box (again), we cocked it up (again). If Phillips had ever had a more negative game, I’m bloody glad I didn’t watch it. He is a passenger half the time, he constantly passes square or behind the man, and his corners are truly awful. He should have been subbed before Berardi. Credit Luton - their plan worked, but here we are top of the league and limping along to promotion (hopefully) with every one of our weaknesses over the last 2 years still unresolved. I’m not sure how much further we’ll get with this ‘law of averages’ approach. At some point we need quality players - you win nowt with duds ;-( Yes, I am pissed off, even as we sit 4 points clear at the top, with every chance of promotion.
