Thought for 10-15 minutes Hernandez was excellent and again he and Alisoki
changed the game completely. Then Hernandez turned into Michael Brown....

This was my first experience of LUTV. The pictures were ok, decent replays
etc. My main complaint would be the very uncritical commentary, towing the
party line.
However, you can tell that they have all watched many Leeds matches over the
years, because they can sort of see the same signs as us when it starts going
wrong.
This could be a report of so many games.
Leeds on top, miss a few good chances, are wasteful in many situations then the
oppo go and score from their first attack.
The script did change a bit in that we scored a goal through Dallas. Then
dominated the game but missed some glorious chances, and it could have followed
the plot where we concede a late one.
A draw puts it all back in the balance, if it was ever not so.
If we emulate 7 points from the last 6 games like last season, that won’t be
enough.
Worrying injury to Cooper, and strange that he was replaced by Berardi, who
didn’t do much wrong but was in turn replaced by Alioski as they went 3-3-3-1
in the 2nd half.
Scores:
Meslier 6 – OK, missed one cross completely and could not do much about the
goal.
Ayling 6 – looked better on the right of a 3 in the 2nd half.
White 6 –Showed quality, but ought to have done better on Luton’s goal and
messed up on another occasion later.
Cooper 6 - Injured early on.
Dallas 6 – Not over impressed, but took the goal well
Phillips 5 – Played very deep in the 2nd half, a few poor passes, terrible free
kicks and corners
Costa 5 – Runs down too many blind alleys, no stomach for a battle, no end
product.
Kilch 6 – Lots of industry, but nothing to get you out of your seat.
Roberts 5 – Too many poor touches and badly weighted passes
Harrison 6 – Good work rate and dribbling, bad crosses and passing.
Bamford 4 – Missed chances and did not do a lot else
Subs
Berardi 6 – Did OK
Hernandez ( for Klich)5 – Not a good passing day.
Alioski – 6 – Good energy, good ball for goal, but too inconsistent in passing,
control and shooting.
Shackleton – Only on a couple of mins
