I think you can pretty much assume if Dallas was man-marking Macallister, and he struggled with the assignment, that it must have been deliberate? I accept that Dallas was notionally our right-back though. Still think Ayling was at fault though - why would you leave their no 1 goal threat on his own?
I don’t get the Llorente position - if he’s not fit to play why is he on the bench, and if he is fit enough, get him on the pitch, and get Ayling back at right-back. The pig-headedness of Bielsa to somehow think he can apply the science of football in all circumstances I will confess is bloody irritating at times. Yes, his approach is unique and genius, until others suss the system out - then what? The Newcastle game now looks like a must-win, and I doubt they will be quite so accommodating this time around? > On 17 Jan 2021, at 17:16, Einar S. <einar.karlm...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Goal came after Dallas failed to track MacAllister properly. > > _______________________________________________ > Leedslist mailing list > Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist > To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org > > Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ > > Dorigo's Right Buttock... _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ Dorigo's Right Buttock...
