Agree.

He picked the 11 i thought he would but like you, I would have preferred to see
Bijol, Longstaff and Nmecha start.

Piroe up top doesn't look like getting much joy in this sort of fixture.
Arsenal were pressing so high we struggled to play out from the back and Piroe
isn't going to win much against Gabriel and Saliba in the air, particularly as
he doesn't even jump.
I think he makes more sense in games where we can control possession.

As someone on blue sky pointed out we had 8 players from our championship team
in the starting line-up and that was never going to be good enough against
Arsenal.

I wonder if James is still short of fitness - he had a couple of opportunities
to run at their left back but didn't.

I agree it is too early to panic put I am concerned that Farke didn’t play the
'big lads' Bijol in for Struik, NMecha for Piroe and Longstaff for Gruev. I
still think we would have lost but not in such a demoralising way. I hope Farke
learns from this, and shows more flexibility in his approach. Arsenal were
amazing though, the combination of physicality and skill was overwhelming. It’s
a good time to play Newcastle (if there is such a thing now) even if they get
Wissa in he won’t be match fit. Hopefully we can get something and then we are
into a better run of fixtures and a chance to get points on the board
