I'm sure it's true that Healy didn't defer his wages.  However, I doubt
very much that if he _had_ deferred his wages he would still have been at
LUFC for season.  This is an example of Bates spinning events to mislead
the fans.

Only his (Bates')track record on pronouncements saying and implying one
thing and actual events turning out entirely differently.

Bates has said that we won't have to sell anyone because of their wages as
all debts will have been settled (true - but not in the way we assumed)
and the difference in TV and pirze money between CCC and League 1 is c.
£1m a year, so we can safely assume (or can we?) that all the higher
earners at ER will be staying?  Or will it just happen to turn out that
those will be the ones that Wise doesn;t think are good enough for Leeds
anyway?
