Oh My God. You STILL don't get it, even though I have actually said it a
number of times. I have never been 'pro-bates', I have only ever been
'anti-anti bates without explanation/reason (that I could see)' and/or
'pro-getting the team sorted for next season asap'.

With regards to the former, it wasn't even people being anti-bates per se,
but the nature of some of the postings to the list throughout that period.
Since then it has been a lot better, people now seem to be posting all/any
news and then having a comment at the end of it.

You will notice that I only really started giving a shit about it during the
lead up to the original creditors vote. I saw the list as being used by
certain people to influence whatever voters were on the list to vote against
Bates. Like politicians, Bates/Leeds were obviously going to put a positive
'spin' on them winning the vote, but they used press announcements and the
LUFC website to do that. I expected that. I did not expect to be subjected
to it on this list, if someone wanted to influence votes on this list they
could have quite easily either posted all the press releases or whatever and
commented/opined about those, or they could have simply offered opinions.
Some did. Others did not in my opinion, which led me to think they had a
hidden agenda.

In summary, I expect to bed fed shit and/or treated like a mug by Bates and
actually the other bidders. What I don't expect is to be treated like a mug
on our list. As a result I wanted to question and play devil's advocate
whenever I saw one of those postings.

I also notice that Redbus were complaining (perhaps quite rightly) that they
hadn't been given all the financial information that would enable them to
make an accurate bid, as opposed to Bates.

Within the day LUST have issued a press release asking that KPMG allow all
bidders the financial information, delaying the deadline for offers if
necessary.

I wonder if LUST support the Redbus bid?
