>>Be careful where you cast your aspersions, Mark, why is he mythical?<<

Blimmin heck Paul, it was menat to be a light-hearted remark. Remember those?

>>I wonder who said: -
"I'll take him seriously once he steps forward with a plan."

As far as I know, he's stepped forward with his plan and has got his feet
under the table.<<

Do you know for sure? Please tell the class if you do, as there has been no
confirmation from KPMG or from Wilkinson or Pearson.

LIke I said.... come out of the car park!

>>By all accounts he has made the highest bid of all - yet you're still not
taking him seriously.<<

You're obviously getting a much better feed on this than me. Until I see a
firm confirmation of his bid he's exactly what I said - a near-mythical figure
spoken of in hushed tones by "listers in the know". The man who nearly
bought Leeds United.

Is his bid the higher-but-conditional one that the FL doesn't like? A
strange move from someone who was principal shareholder in a championship
football
club till last month? Given the level of scrutiny right now a complex deal is
the last tthing we need.

Mark
