They didn't sabotage the CVA. the HMRC challenged it. Are you suggesting that the HMRC only did this because of the MPs involvement? If so I'd disagree strongly. To be fair to the MPs, they were obliged to get involved. There is nearly £8m of public money at stake here and they should take an interest in this, it's part of their job. Even if we accept that they are obliged to help one of the leading sprts clubs in the region keep going, then that doesn't necessarily mean they should have unquestioningly backed Bates.
