Just because I might say something that somebody in the media also says, it does not mean that I am simply using them as a source or even that I am accepting whatever they might say as unsubstantiated fact. I have had personal conversations one to one with Simon Franks myself (although the Trust was not a part of his bid) and on many occasions the Trust IS the source for at least part of what the media says. It is a two-way thing and it is frequntly unattributed whichever direction the flow may have been in. If you see an item on TV or hear it on Radio then bear in mind that it is the reporters job to provide the news/information and the guests job to make comment. That does not mean that the guest has had no input into what the reporter has told you. Perhaps it is simply beyond your comprehension that anybody from the greater body of "the fans" can possibly have any direct involvement in the events that you see unfolding. I assure you that several people at various levels and who may all be regarded as fans are frequently active in whatever is going on. >Let's see how it pans out, eh?
