That is an interesting version of events. It is in fact the sort of interpretation that a ten year old might put on it. You were moaning on list that the Trust view was not one you recognised so I handed you the opportunity to put an alternative view. Your email address went to three well respected and trustworthy local media people whose job it is to reflect what is going on and what the fans really think about it, together with your complaint that the alternative was not being heard. They were given the opportuntiy to see the nature of what your views were (i.e. a fans view which was different from the views that the Trust was expressing) and to ask you for your comments from a totally different point of view to the one that you were complaining about. I sent you a copy so that you were fully aware of it. I have no idea if they emailed you asking for your point of view or not, nor have I any idea if you gave them your views or not. That was entirely your choice and if you decided to turn down the opportunity to make your alternative views known then the worst that you would have experienced would be three emails which you decided not to respond to. I'm sure that they would be quite short, and quite polite invitations to speak for the fans who were not being heard according to you. All 3 of these reporters would have taken views from you without attributing them to you in person if that is what you wanted. Nobody would have been aware of it until now when you posted it on here. What is the point of complaining about others putting views that you do not agree with and from organisations that you do not recognise if you don't actually want any alternative view to be aired ? You make it sound as if sky sports were chasing you with a camera crew or as if you were getting pestered unexpectedly by paparazzi. Sounds like somebody was rattled but not myself I think. If you are not even prepared to give the local media the alternative viewpoint anonymously and by bloody email than how can anyone be expected to give any credence to your complaints ? You can't please some people.
