If I get your question correctly -
Yesterday I replied onlist (and in error) to one of a string of his emails. 
The one that I replied to was offlist and I like a fool didn't notice that 
fact. Now that was my fault and my mistake and again I apologise for my 
mistake in replying onlist.
If I KNEW how it had happened I would be happy to answer but I don't. I 
guess that I did something stupid as I was in a hurry and had two phones 
ringing.
I realised almost instantly and tried to stop it by blocking the connection 
and even trying to get hold of the listowner to block it if possible, but it 
was too late and it was gone.
Todays was an onlist reply to an onlist posting.
