I think that's a bit of an oversimplification...but not far off, Dr. Mike.? Ultimately, and at the risk of doubling down on your oversimplification, I think it comes down to this:? Ridsdale did all the wrong things for all the right reasons whereas Bates is doing all the wrong things for all the wrong reasons.? And if THAT's not a distinction without a difference I don't know what is...
The irony, of course, is that would we even be having this debate if just one of many things had gone ever-so-slightly differently? Michael Gardiner San Diego Whites [LU] The worse of two evils To: LUList <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Ridsdale or Bates. Bates by a long way. Ridsdale was not devious. Was not dishonest. Had the best interests of the club at heart. His damage was correctable but was not corrected. We lived the dream and woke to nightmare. A fool caught out Bates is devious . He is simly dishonest. He has one interest and it is not the club. His damage is not correctable. We lived the nightmare and woke up to mayhem. A liar and thief caught out. I hate Bates guts. I never hated Ridsdale. I thought that he should have not done some of things that he did. But I underrstood why he did them. Bates should never have done any of the things he did. And no one understands any thing. In short Ridsdale was an unsuccesful manager. Bates is an unsuccesful psychopath. Michael . ________________________________________________________________________ AOL now offers free email to everyone.
