Which is fine, but strange when it is about a business tool!? I have a Dell latitude D820 laptop, 2gb ram, dual core processor with Vista and it looks good and runs like silk. Even when playing games like World in Conflict. It was bought about 6 months ago for £1k. Best running laptop I have ever used. I don't see someone say I had one and dumped it. Am I wrong? Michael On 28/09/2007, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: The design of macs is an added bonus, but not the reason I use them. I have used them for around 15 years now, and have not once seen any reason to change. I have an old clamshell iBook that is now about 5 years old and it has never broken down once in that whole time. My older iMac has also worked very well. The pcs and laptops I use at work (dell...g*d what a heap of shite) break down, slow down, freeze, whatever all the time. Design is considered an anathema to many (ie if you have a mac you must be somehow less than a real man) and people use that against many things including macs. For me it is just part and parcel of the thought that goes into a computer that is elegant both in looks and the way it works.
