That's true Mike and I agree with the rest of your report, BUT in the end refs are refs and they are sometimes good or bad, nothing we can do for that. However the players in our team have to stop being such dickheads. Having being booked for verbals once Kandol should just shut it and get on proving how crap gillingham are by scoring goals. The ref was within the rules to send him of for dissent and while most would show some common sense and warn him, he shouldn't have taken the risk. Beckford chose to chip the keeper after the whistle, that's a yellow, and he'd already seen how the ref was, so why did he do it? As for the 2nd, I couldn't see the tackle properly, but it was just outside their box heading nowhere so why go in like that 2 minutes after being booked? Knowing what the ref was like it was suicide. Both players Kandol in particular need to be fined, they lost us the game as there was no way that gillingham would have scored if we had 11. Records don't matter and I guess that the team spirit will be reinforced by this, but being objective we lost the 2 point ourselves, just hope it isn't critical at the end of the season.
