Personally I thought that you couldn't tell that it was their collective debuts as they seemed in tune with the rest of the team and they all seemed to work together passing the ball, giving and going, all I can say is that they all either have good intuitive footballing brains or they have worked f*cking hard up at thorpe arch over the past week. Kenton was all over the field putting in tackles, Sweeney put in a peach of a cross for Beckford's goal, Johnson got a bit of a run out so it is probably a bit early to tell but he looked eager. The only player that looked as if they weren't in tune and therefore the 'newbie' was Flo.
According to the match stats, we had 60% of the possession, 45% of the crowd and 100% result and played like we were at home, to be fair to Crewe they were better than Northampton.
