Luton may have a CVA agreed with their creditors but whether it meets
the FL's rules is another thing. Talking to Luton fans involved in the
situation they tell me that Luton, like Leeds had, owes a big debt to
the taxman and that if the Footballing creditors are paid more of a
percentage (ie the usual 100%) than other creditors then the club is in
the same position as Leeds. Any incoming buyer for the club who pays
all creditors equally but not 100% will have broken FL rules and they
will be penalised heavily just like Bates was.

I'll keep in touch with the Luton guys as this has a great deal of
bearing on our own case................
