Of course professionals are wrong and you are right. I am not even
going to bother on this point.
the fact that pros swear to mac for multimedia speaks for itself.

> And by the way, you can install unix on a pc.

mark, you seem to think Im dumb or something. I too work in IT, used
to do UNIX tech support, then moved into enterprise level storage and
I dabble at home. or I use to dabble when I used windows. now I ve got
time to produce instead if i want to cause I dont need to dabble to
get things working.

correct. however I was speaking for myself, not on behalf of others
like you do.

First, I note you couldnt document any limitations.

Secondly: you ARE having a laugh ey? All phones are sold with contracts
and also most phones are sold off contract. just like the iphone, cant
afford buying one?
though shit. get a Nokia, they rule. or get an iphone on contract and
hack it free. I ve done
that for a year now. easy.

Thirdly so you are trying to tell me that Mac is shit cause they cant
play MS DRM protected file formats? wow.. you could do a bit better I
reckon. here, let me educate you once again:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Media_Audio

"Windows Media Audio (WMA) is an audio data compression technology
developed by Microsoft. The name can be used to refer to its audio
file format or its audio codecs. It is a proprietary technology which
forms part of the Windows Media framework"

WMA is Windows version of DRM protected MP3s. that is the answer to
your question. Apple does the same of course. not denying that. heard
of iTunes +?

yes Vista is Great.. even the manufacturer has stated its a failure:

http://www.theinquirer.net/en/inquirer/news/2007/04/21/microsoft-admits-vista-failure

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2704,2286065,00.asp

However I am sure you can tell MS they are wrong.

> There are (and have not been any) mjor technical problems with vista since
> launch as far as I recall.

oh yeah? thats great news. I doubt it but wont be arsed to google that.

>> XP ruled and they got rid of it, thats my take in MS.
>

> and it is still supported.

yes it is Mark. but not because of MS, because of public outcry.

http://www.technewsworld.com/story/63550.html

cause: VISTA IS SHITE!

>> PS: easy to get rid of DRM in OS X. rip your stuff to a CD or DVD, it
>> will strip DRM off and copy it back.
>
> Yeah, fantastic, buy an mp3 (or m4a by default!) from itunes, burn it to

once again, you dont know what you are talking about. you can get a mp3
without DRM on iTunes.

What about WMA mate? is that free to go anywhere? Whatever Apple is
doing now is merely
an extended "arm" of what MS has installed in the industry. I dont
subscribe to it but thats life.

Cheers,
Eric
