Wow. But something tells me that she's probably a bit out of it in general when it comes to popular culture, because AC/DC's back catalog (catalogue, for the Anglos) still outsells almost everyone else's. Anyway, best concert I ever saw: For Those About to Rock tour, October (I think) 1982, Dublin's RDS Simmonscourt Pavilion. Plus I met the band at their hotel before the show and got all their autographs, which was a big deal for me back then (age 15).

We have a new registrar at work. She overheard me and my mate talkng about getting AC/DC tickets and whether we could justify paying 3 times face face value. This reg (nice lass, all tits and dimples but good at her work) said "who?" Turns out that not only hadn't she heard AC/DC, she hadn't even heard _of_ AC/DC. We ripped the piss out of her for being young and knowing nowt, to which she said "Well, I'm nearly 30!" Ever felt old? I've had to compile a CD for her of all the good bits. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
