Agree with you about Beckford and Snodgrass. Obviously I completely disagree with your Becchio assessment. It's actually a myth that he is good in the air. Yesterday I counted he won about 25% of his headers and when he did the flick ons were pointless. Compare to Beckford who usually doesn't even bother trying to win headers -he came on yesterday and won everything in the air. Also his work rate which is now been touted as his main assett in the absence of his 5 yard tap ins. Well, yes he does work hard but he has no pace so he really doesn't trouble the opposition. You talk about Trundle as if he doesn't work hard, well I thought Trundle, Robinson and Beckford all worked as hard if not harder than Becchio with more affect. Also look at the difference in strength between Trundle and Becchio. Becchio was supposed to be a hard Argy and Trundle a showboating fancy dan. Absolute garbage. Trundle has great upper body strenght and can hoold the ball up really well with his back towards goal. Contrast to Becchio who really struggles to get the ball under control and is easily knocked off the ball.
He hasn't gone of the ball Dave, he is the same player as the one who managed to get a few goals early in the season with the space the Beckford bought him. Exactly the same scenario as Kandol. He's pants. and if Becchio doesn't get picked much until the end of the season you can't say 'oh he would have got over 11 goals if he'd been picked' because if he was any good and was scoring goals he wouldn't be dropped - would he ?
