Well since most of you have seen it on TV etc I was only going to give scores
on the doors but when I saw Richs (enclosed) I think he has got them bang
on though a bit generous for Rui whose distribution was woeful - even Delph who
was awful last night - he originally gave the ball away for their goal but did
then have a little spell when he tried to make amends and he did have a couple
of decent bits of play but he was way below par - perhaps it is time for  a
rest and let either Howson or Kilkenny have a run ?
The only thing I would say about the game is that I thought we were by far the
better team, creating more and better  chances than them and the other thing I
REALLY ENJOYED IT !!
Whether that was because there was a good atmosphere or just because I have
such low expectations football wise I am not sure, but to me it was a good end
to end stuff with a lot of goalmouth action especailly in their box. OK some of
our play was poor - how waccoe can praise Johnson and how fans sang his name
when he was out on loan I just don't undersand - and our tactics once again
played into Gregans hands (head?) making him look great instead of getting him
isolated against Beckford or getting behind him to make him turn BUT given
these are now one of our main rivals and we had lost the last 3 away I thought
we did well
Hopefully Becchios goal will give him confidence to go on a bit of a scoring
run and we know Delph will have better games and that Beckford will have games
when we actually pass to him, so if we can get Dickinson back on loan or White
fully fit, and get Robbo back for Johnson things will be OK.
The Everton manager Moyes was at the game - we saw him getting out of his car -
hopefully he will have come to see Delph ,in which case he will not be coming
back.

Scores from me:

Casper - 2. Shocking. Watch him, he's dithering all the time , forward,
backwards, he's causing unneccessary panic in the defence.

Douglas - 7. I thought he did pretty well against a tricky player in Taylor. It
is to his credit that Taylor never got a sniff.

Parker - 2. This lad is a bloody liability. No pace, can't tackle,
can't defend. He was the weak link at the back.

Naylor - 9. Excellent. Won everything.

Rui - 9. Excellent. Very strong at times.

Johnson - 0. How bad is Bradley Johnson. What does he do ? I just don't
rate him, never have and I'd like him to come good but it ain't going to
happen.

Kilkenny - 8. I thought he played well again tonight. Every pass found a white
shirt which was a rare talent on show tonight.

Delph - 3. My God he was poor tonight. He just kept giving the ball away. Very
out of character.

Snodgrass - 7. I thought he worked hard but looked leg heavy second half.

Beckford - 6. Didn't really figure. Our long ball football didn't
exactly suit.

Becchio - 3 for the first half, 9 for the second. He looked sharp second half
and did some good link up play and he showed what he can do. On that performance
he's got to play over Trundle. However, I still don't see the goals
unless he's unmarked in the 6 yard box like tonight.

Let's be honest, we've got some decent players but we've got a few
really weak links that are dragging us back at the moment.
