Don't forget Scunny need to get above us too and they play Tranmere on the last game of the season.

It could all get very tight!

Anyone see Millwall v P'boro last night? I didn't but wondered what the standard was like compared to Leicester v Leeds

As Rich has said most of you will have seen this on the TV so little needs adding - from my point of view we had 90mins non stop singing (a 20 minute rendition of "we all love Leeds" from 27th minute until half time was particularly impressive and annoyed the locals no end - their attempts to drown us out were pretty feeble and did not work - I am 50years old and still love that side of things !! Overall we deserved something from this game and if Beckford had been fit I am sure we would have won. As it was Becchio and Dickinson did not really work and so actual clear cut chances were at a premium and we had no-one good enough to finish the few we had. The general consensus re Dickinson is that a) He is crap and b) He should be the replacement for Becchio and that Grella should be the replacement for Beckford. Leicester have proved over the course of the season that they are the best team in this league and yet we matched them in every department and were never really under the cosh, with Sodje and Naylor absolutely solid at the back for 90mins and Casper taking a few crosses \ corners. Unfortunately the game these days lasts for longer than 90mins and we just switched off for that vital second which allowed a good corner to be met by an even better header and all our good work was undone. There is no need to panic though and this was not one of the McAllister games where a good performance is spoiled by an inability to defend a corner - this was a good strong performance where we were undone by a cracking set piece. It really sets things up for Tranmere on Saturday - a game that it now almost a play off quarter final - a win and the play off spot is all but mathematically ours - a defeat and we need to match Tranmere in the last two games to get in the play offs on goal difference !

So to any of you out there who are thinking of going to either Northampton or Tranmere but cannot do both - for me Tranmere is the 'must' game.

On a non football note I had a brilliant day out - helped by the police who let me and my mate stay in the pub (The Hind) after they had put everyone else in the escort where we got another couple of pints (in real glasses) and the landlord sorted us a taxi ! Being disabled does have some perks *

Dave
* Though not many - am suffering big time today and can hardly move for pain - but it was worth it !!
