AZ are my favorite Dutch team. Only 'cos I've family in Alkmaar.
--------------------------------------------------
Steve McClaren. Remember him?
He came over here to be manager of FC Twente.
Well it's his 48th birthday today and he celebrated with a 4-0 win for
Twente
over AZ, the new dutch champions (they sealed the championship a couple of
weeks ago), which guarantees Twente a place in the preliminary round of
the
Chumps next season and leaves Ajax out in the cold having to play off for
a
place in the European League (or whatever the new name is for the UEFA
Cup).
