I'm pleased for all you "Real" haters out there....

Leeds wear white because of Real, that's good enough for me.  Real will be back
bigger and stronger next year once they get rid of Ramos.  Enjoy your brief
spell in the sun.
Real will be back, as will Leeds.

And Guy, as for FC thirty or what every they are called, who really gives a
flying f...@k?

Best wishes,

Verner

Dear all,

They weren't prawn sandwiches, but the finest wines, jamón, chorizo,
canapés.... oh yes indeed, yours truly had the incredible good fortune to be
invited to the Real Madrid vs Barcelona game via corporate hospitality....

Whilst I'm not really an FCB fan, I cannot deny to laughing my cojones off
at the misfortunes of Real Madrid - that club is just one long soap opera.
Suffice to say that I spent the entire 90 minutes AGOG at the SPECTACULAR
display from FCB.

A truly historic match in Spanish football, one that will definitely be talked
about for years to come - here at least. The second worst defeat EVER suffered
by Real Madrid, but with such style by FCB - amazing. Also worth noting, Xavi
made 90+ SUCESSFULL passes during the game - not to mention Iniesta!

The most amazing thing is that FCB started with SIX players from their youth
squad (although Piqué spent a few years with you-know-who) and that was SEVEN
by the end...

I shall stop now, I'm annoying myself by going on so much.

As for our beloved LUFC, we're the form team by a country mile and it seems
solid in all areas of the pitch compared against the other three....but but
but... I wouldn't care if the ball is hoofed up into the air for 90mins as
long as we don't lose and bring them back to ER.

PS the Señora and I are enjoying the tv version of "Red Riding",
outstanding viewing. Fictionalised stories with large dollops of corruption -
any truth in that part in reality??
