Well feck me that was fun. Yes I know it adds another fixture, yes I know it puts Beckford, Kisnorbo and Snodgrass in the shop window but I really enjoyed that game (first 20 mins apart where they murdered us). What I loved was yet again Grayson seemed to have got it right, looking to stifle their midfield with a sort of 4-4-1-1 format, Snodgrass and Beckford both roaming around with Snodgrass play tight behind Beckford and switching wings. I reckon we would have won if we'd had Naylor in defence, but top marks to every player today. Was in a pub in Brooklyn, it was about 50/50 Leeds/Spurs fans in there but how many Leeds fans were at White Hart Lane? Was it 5,000 odd? However many they sang there hearts out and we hardly ever heard the Spurs fans except when they scored. There right back Hutton was good going forward but seemed a liability in defence. For us my MOM was Kisnorbo though Beckford deserves credit, he worked hard and pulled their defenders all over the shop, yes he had a decent chance first half that went wide and he had another awful first touch early in the second half when he was through on goal and the touch this time was worse than the one at Man U and he couldn't recover the ball but he kept on trying and scored two goals, can't ask more than that from a striker. When we went 2-1 down it seemed that we were a bit down but credit to them all, they kept plugging away and I think 2-2 was a fair result. What a classic cup tie! Jeremy
