This is bollocks.

As has already been said, nobody scores in every game. The fact that he scored
in the Cup but hasn't scored for a few league games is mostly a
coincidence............the only other factor is NOT that he was trying harder
in those games, it was that we were playing better and hence he got the chances.

Do you think that Beckford thinks that PL managers and scouts only learn about
Div 3 players by watching the FA Cup on ITV?

As Grayson has said, if Beckford wants to better himself in the future, the
only thing he can do between now & May is work hard, play well, and score
goals for Leeds United..........and I am sure that he knows that perfectly well.

I never criticised him for not scoring in the big games, I criticised him
for not turning up in the big games, therefore not even having a chance of
  scoring.

So are you saying that it's purely a co-incidence that in the games so far
in January (transfer window open) he's scored against the big boys and not
  against the third division teams?

  Really, you do?

Personally I think his head's not in it, he's been turned by his agent into
believing that he is the next Ronaldo, and I think he withdrew his transfer
request because he realised that Leeds weren't going to let him go in a deal
that didn't look after LUFC first and foremost.

Not only that, I think that all this shite in the press is unsettling the
rest of the squad, and the sooner we can settle the squad by getting rid the
  better.

If we don't get rid, the rest of the season is going to be centred on
Beckford and not on LUFC, and we don't need it.
